FOREIGN COUNTRY BLOCKIf you are planning to travel to a foreign country, you’ll want to be sure to contact the credit union and temporarily remove the Foreign Country block on your Visa Debit Card.BECCU implemented fraud protection that blocks the use of Visa Debit Cards in foreign countries, unless specifically requested by the member. If you anticipate the need for PIN-based Visa Debit Card transactions in foreign countries, whether it is for a short vacation or for an extended period of time, you may have this block removed by simply contacting the credit union. This protection can be tailored to meet your specific circumstances! REMEMBER, THIS BLOCK ONLY AFFECTS TRANSACTIONS USING A PIN.
